On the final stretch of April 3, the Oeiras delegation visited Serosep, a company based in the Annacotty Business Park in Limerick, which specializes in the development and production of innovative solutions for clinical and laboratory diagnostics. This visit was part of the mission program organized by OVIA and aimed to learn about business success stories in areas of high technology and direct social impact.
Founded in 1997, Serosep has established itself as an international leader in biotechnology for diagnostics, particularly in microbiology, molecular pathology, and laboratory information management. The company develops its solutions and exports to over 40 countries, operating through an integrated approach that combines research, production, and specialized technical support.
During the visit, the Oeiras delegation toured the company’s facilities, where they learned about the product development and manufacturing processes. They also explored Serosep’s internationalization strategy and its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability.
