On March 18, a meeting took place at the Consulate General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong between the Consul-General, Ambassador Alexandre Leitão, and a business delegation from Oeiras led by the Deputy Mayor of Oeiras, Dr. Francisco Rocha Gonçalves, and the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz. The meeting was also attended by AICEP’s Vice-Consul and Delegate in Macau, Dr. Bernardo Pinho.
Among the topics discussed during the meeting were China-Portugal relations, the Hengqin region’s role in China and Macau’s economies, and the business climate in Macau for Portuguese companies looking to operate in this Special Administrative Region.
