On March 21, the OVIA delegation had the honor of visiting the Real Gabinete Português de Leitura, one of Rio de Janeiro’s most prestigious cultural icons. The motto for this visit was the visit to the Luso-Brazilian historical and cultural heritage, and it also strengthened the ties between Oeiras and the Portuguese community in Brazil.
Founded in 1837, the Royal Cabinet houses a vast collection of rare works. During their visit, the Oeiras delegation emphasized the significance of cultural and educational exchanges and discussed ways to promote initiatives that support the healthy maintenance of relations between Portugal and Brazil.
This meeting concluded the business mission as a symbol of unity between the two territories, reaffirming culture as an essential pillar in strengthening bilateral relations.
