On 1 July, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, took part as a speaker at the Economics Forum – Perspectives on Iberian Economic Integration, organised by Banco de Portugal. The initiative brought together experts, academics, institutional representatives and business leaders to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of economic integration between Portugal and Spain.
In his address, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz shared an analysis of the evolution of Iberian economic relations in the current international context, also addressing the role of economic cooperation, territorial competitiveness and internationalisation as essential drivers of sustainable growth on the Iberian Peninsula.
The participation of OVIA’s Chairman in this forum reinforces the Agency’s recognition as a qualified interlocutor on matters related to investment, economic development and internationalisation. It also reflects Oeiras’ growing standing as one of Europe’s leading ecosystems for innovation, science, technology and investment attraction.
