The Vice-President of OVIA, Professor Sílvia Almeida, took part in the Opening Ceremony of the 2025–2026 Academic Year at Atlântica – University Institute, held on October 14 at the Afonso de Barros Auditorium.
The ceremony was also attended by Professor Manuel Freitas, Rector of Atlântica, Professor Helena José, President of ESSATLA – Atlântica School of Health, and Natália do Espírito Santo, General Director of EIA – Ensino, Investigação e Administração, SA, the founding entity of both institutions.
OVIA’s participation, through its Vice-President, highlights the Agency’s ongoing commitment to supporting its members and strengthening collaboration between higher education institutions and the business and innovation ecosystem of Oeiras.
It is worth noting that Atlântica – University Institute is an associate member of OVIA, as is the Teixeira Duarte Group, chaired by Manuel Teixeira Duarte, which shares the same goal of fostering academic, scientific, and corporate development in the region.
