As part of the activities carried out by NANOMAT – Association for Research and Development in Advanced Materials and Applications, an initiative of the Instituto Superior Técnico and the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (FCT Nova), OVIA attended the reception of a delegation from the Chinese province of Zhejiang, composed of members of academia, regional authorities, and industrial managers.
During the event, which took place at the Caparica Campus on May 15, the entities were presented, namely CENIMAT – Centro de Investigação de Materiais – CENIMAT|i3N, a national scientific research center supported by the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Higher Education, through the Foundation for Science and Technology, by Professor Rodrigo Martins, Coordinator of CENIMAT|i3N and President of NANOMAT, and OVIA, by its Secretary-General, Dr. Tiago Sousa Dias, having all parties discussed the possibilities for cooperation and the formation of partnerships involving the pillars of innovation, education and technology between all the participating organizations.
