On May 4, OVIA participated in new working meetings promoted under the Invest Center initiative, this time with the Municipalities of Castanheira de Pera and Pedrógão Grande. These meetings continue the strategy of inter-municipal cooperation aimed at promoting investment, territorial enhancement, and sustainable economic development.
The meetings were attended by the Mayors, António Manuel Henriques Antunes and João Marques, respectively. They provided an opportunity to present the economic potential, strategic resources, and priority projects of each territory, as well as their ambitions in attracting investment, establishing companies, and creating qualified employment.
During the sessions, OVIA shared the experience of Oeiras Valley as an ecosystem of innovation, science, technology, and entrepreneurship, showcasing economic development models and investment attraction strategies that have helped position Oeiras as one of Portugal’s leading references in this field.
Through the Invest Center, a platform for dialogue and sharing of best practices between municipalities continues to be consolidated, fostering synergies that contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of territories and creating new economic development opportunities across different regions of the country.
