OVIA took part, on 23 January, in the Cultural and Tourism Exchange and Cooperation Meeting “Welcome to Charming Hunan – Discover Culture and Tourism”, an initiative promoted by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hunan Province (People’s Republic of China), held in Lisbon.
The Investment Agency was represented by its Secretary-General, Tiago Sousa Dias, at this selective, small-scale institutional meeting, designed to deepen dialogue and cooperation between Portuguese and Chinese entities in the fields of culture and tourism, while identifying concrete opportunities for future collaboration.
The initiative brought together representatives from leading Portuguese cultural and tourism institutions, providing a privileged platform for the exchange of perspectives, the promotion of mutual understanding, and the strengthening of bilateral relations between Portugal and China.
OVIA’s participation in this meeting is aligned with its mission to promote international cooperation and economic and cultural diplomacy, while positioning Oeiras as a territory open to global dialogue, the attraction of international projects, and the development of strategic partnerships in the fields of culture, tourism and territorial development.
