On June 6, OVIA held a meeting in Macau with Consulasia, a company under the Consulgal Group and a member company of OVIA. This meeting was part of OVIA’s mission to the Special Administrative Region and the Greater Bay Area.
The purpose of the meeting was to enhance strategic alignment with one of the most active Portuguese companies in Asia. Consulasia has a strong presence in Macau and significant experience in consultancy, engineering, and management projects across various Portuguese-speaking countries.
During the meeting, specific collaboration opportunities between OVIA and Consulasia were explored. These included identifying projects with international funding, fostering partnerships with Chinese entities, and supporting the international expansion of OVIA member companies in both the Portuguese-speaking and Asian markets.
The meeting occurred in a particularly favorable context, given China’s increasing openness to investment and cooperation with PALOP (African Countries of Portuguese Language) nations. This reinforces Consulasia’s role as a bridge connecting Portuguese technical expertise with the emerging markets of the Asia-Pacific region.
OVIA reiterated its commitment to facilitating synergies among member companies and supporting business initiatives that position Oeiras as a global platform for innovation, engineering, and sustainable development.
