On September 9, during the Macau-Hengqin Investment Promotion Conference, and under the joint witness of the Deputy Director of the Executive Committee of the Cooperation Zone, Fu Yongge, as well as the Director General of the Economic Activities of the Portuguese Ministry of Economy, Fernanda Ferreira Dias, the Oeiras Valley Investment Agency (OVIA), the Economic Development Bureau of the Cooperation Zone and the Hengqin-Macao Innovation Industrial Park Development and Construction Co., Ltd. signed a tripartite cooperation agreement. This agreement aims to promote more biomedicine and high-tech portuguese companies to settle in the Hengqin-Macao Innovation Industrial Park and help biomedicine and high-tech companies from Portugal and Europe to develop in Hengqin, making Hengqin the first choice for Portuguese companies to enter the Chinese market.
Currently, the cooperation zone is accelerating the construction of the Qianhai-Macao Innovation Industrial Park (Big Health Park) project. According to the plan, the project will be built into a comprehensive industrial park integrating health products, food, biomedicine, medical equipment, and other industries.
