OVIA attended the celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of ISQ – Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (Welding and Quality Institute), one of its founding members, at a memorable event held at the Teatro Tivoli BBVA in Lisbon, on October 31.
In an innovative and original format, ISQ celebrated six decades of excellence, knowledge, and contribution to the technological and industrial development of Portugal, highlighting its remarkable journey through a unique cultural experience, the theatrical performance “Dois de Nós” (“Two of Us”), which captivated the audience with its creativity and symbolism.
The event brought together employees, institutional partners, business leaders, and representatives from various public and private entities, in an atmosphere of celebration and sharing that reflected ISQ’s spirit of innovation and human-centered vision.
OVIA’s presence at this milestone event reinforces its institutional and strategic partnership with ISQ, a key ally in promoting innovation, sustainability, and knowledge transfer within Oeiras Valley. This cooperation stands as a clear example of how science, technology, and culture can converge to create value and inspire the future.
Over the past 60 years, ISQ has established itself as a national and international symbol of competence and credibility, and its relationship with the Oeiras ecosystem remains a driving force behind the municipality’s position as a territory of excellence and innovation.
OVIA congratulates ISQ on 60 years of leadership, vision, and contribution toward a more sustainable and technology-driven future!
