On February 20, OVIA’s Chairman of the Board, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, and the Member of OVIA’s Strategic Council, General Marco Serronha, met with the Portuguese Army Chief of Staff, General Eduardo Mendes Ferrão, to propose that OVIA collaborate with the Army, for the purpose of facilitating communication between CEMTEx and Oeiras’ technological innovation companies, as well as those seeking to establish a presence in Oeiras.
CEMTEx aims to contribute to the modernization of this Armed Forces branch, increasing its operational capacity, with technology developed and tested in Portugal, in partnership with Portuguese academia and technology companies.
