On 7 July, OVIA and Torres Vedras City Council formalized a cooperation agreement at a ceremony held at the Cloisters of the Convent of Graça in Torres Vedras, bringing together representatives of the Municipality, business organizations, education and training institutions, and other stakeholders from the regional economic ecosystem.
The agreement was signed by the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, and the Mayor of Torres Vedras, Sérgio Galvão, marking the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between the two entities.
The partnership aims to create the conditions for joint initiatives in the areas of economic promotion, investment attraction, internationalization, innovation and territorial development, bringing together companies, investors, institutions and other relevant stakeholders from their respective ecosystems.
Cooperation between OVIA and Torres Vedras is particularly relevant given the complementarity between the two territories and the potential to build new bridges between the Oeiras Valley ecosystem and the Oeste region, helping to identify investment opportunities, foster business partnerships and strengthen territorial competitiveness.
