OVIA, the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC) and the Oeiras Viva Board of Directors – which manages the Oeiras Marina – received an official delegation from Bao’an District, Shenzhen, at the Oeiras Marina.
During the meeting, representatives from both cities discussed business opportunities in water sports and events, biotechnology, infrastructure and transportation, the ocean economy, and technology and industry.
Furthermore, OVIA and the Investment Promotion Agency of Shenzhen’s Bao’an District signed a Cooperation Protocol strengthening Portugal-China cooperation.
All parties discussed the potential avenues for cooperation in technological modernization combined with environmental protection policies and the next steps for defining future partnerships between local development agents, such as companies, R&D institutions, and industrial parks, among other relevant entities.
A boat tour along the Tagus River concluded the event to the delight of all participants.
