On July 10, OVIA and the City of Oeiras signed a contract following the City Council’s motion of June 5, 2024, the purpose of which is for the Municipality to grant the Association financial support to implement its Activity Plan and Budget for 2024, as approved by the OVIA General Assembly on January 9, 2024.
The City of Oeiras, within the scope of its powers to promote the development of economic activities of municipal interest and the internationalization of business enterprises, has thus reiterated its support for OVIA, an Association that is perceived as an expression of the economic diplomacy of Oeiras. This Municipality stands out from others when it comes to promoting, attracting, and retaining foreign investment, and to which OVIA has contributed to raising the quality of life of its population.
