As part of the 2026 China (Futian, Shenzhen) – Portugal (Lisbon) Economic and Trade Cooperation Exchange Event, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between OVIA and the Futian District Financial Services and Risk Prevention Center of Shenzhen Municipality.
The signing marks a new chapter in institutional relations between the two regions, establishing a cooperation framework focused on investment promotion, business exchange, and the development of strategic partnerships in high value-added sectors.
The agreement foresees enhanced collaboration in areas such as technological innovation, smart urban development, digital economy, and support for business internationalization, fostering information sharing and facilitating connections between investors and public entities.
This milestone further strengthens Oeiras’ positioning as a strategic European gateway for Chinese companies seeking access to European markets, while deepening ties between the innovation ecosystems of Futian and Oeiras Valley.
