OVIA accompanied the visit of the Fundación para la Investigación, Desarrollo y Aplicación de Materiales Compuestos (FIDAMC) to Taguspark on February 9, following its visitation in July 2023.
After presentations of the science and technology park and OVIA by Professor Eduardo Correia, CEO of Taguspark, and Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, Chairman of OVIA’s Chairman of the Board, a working meeting was held and attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Oeiras, Dr. Isaltino Morais and Dr. Francisco Rocha Gonçalves, respectively, Councillor Dr. Pedro Patacho, and a representative from Airbus Spain.
The FIDAMC is considering opening a representation or laboratory of this Foundation in Oeiras. The Foundation’s laboratories study carbon compounds used in modern aviation and would add a new dimension to the existing AED cluster in the municipality.
