On July 17, the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, accompanied a delegation from Oeiras and Pedro Patacho, City Councillor of Oeiras, on a visit to the Fundación para la Investigación, Desarrollo y Aplicación de Materiales Compuestos (FIDAMC) in Madrid.
The Fundación’s President and Airbus Portugal and Spain representative welcomed attendees and discussed opening an Oeiras laboratory.
FIDAMC will visit Oeiras during the second half of 2023, to consider opening a representation or laboratory in the Municipality. The Fundación´s laboratories examine carbon compounds used in modern aviation. FIDAMC´s representation would add a new dimension to the existing AED cluster in the Municipality.
