On June 20, OVIA´s Secretary-General, Mr. Tiago Sousa Dias, attended the reception of a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs at Taguspark in Oeiras.
The delegation was composed of entrepreneurs from the cloud and big data sector, namely from the Inspur and Dirch Yunzhou companies, as well as the Assistant Secretary-General of Forum Macau, and the Vice-President of the Business Association for Cooperation between Lusosphere and China, which visited Portugal intending to set up in the municipality, given its success and capacity for welcoming and integrating companies in new technologies, sustainable development, and web3 in the unique ecosystem for technology that is Oeiras Valley.
The Oeiras Valley is an intelligent technological community in Portugal, which has seen the birth of projects of excellence such as Talkdesk (Portugal’s 3rd unicorn) and has been the destination of choice for global information technology companies since the 1990s, being home to Google, Cisco, and many other companies.
