Oeiras delegation received at the Portuguese Embassy in Dublin

The members of the Oeiras delegation, participating in the business mission to Ireland organized by OVIA, had the distinct honor of being received by His Excellency the Portuguese Ambassador to Ireland, Bernardo Lucena, at the Portuguese Embassy in Dublin, on the last day of the business mission.

This highly symbolic meeting marked the end of the mission and was a valuable opportunity for strategic dialog. During the meeting, the current economic and investment environment in Ireland was analyzed, identifying priority areas for the positioning of Portuguese companies, with special emphasis on the technology, advanced industry, innovation, education, and sustainability sectors.

The Portuguese Embassy and AICEP delegation in Dublin play a crucial role in supporting the internationalization of Portuguese companies by facilitating institutional contacts, sharing insights about the Irish market, and promoting networks for economic and business cooperation.

His Excellency Ambassador Bernardo Lucena praised the example of the mission promoted by OVIA as a concrete expression of local economic diplomacy, highlighting the merit of the initiative and the importance of coordination between territories with converging strategic visions. He also expressed his willingness to support the deepening of bilateral relations, promoting solid collaboration between public and private entities in both countries.

This final moment of the mission proved to be not only institutionally significant but also productive, allowing the objectives achieved during the visit to be consolidated and new paths to be outlined for future cooperation in the areas of innovation, investment, and sustainable development.
