On March 19, the Municipal Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government received a business delegation from Oeiras led by the Deputy Mayor of Oeiras, Dr. Francisco Rocha Gonçalves, and the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Municipal Affairs Bureau of the Macao SAR Government, Dr. José Maria da Fonseca Tavares, Portuguese companies associated with the investment agency and the Portugal-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCILC), as well as its Secretary-General, Dr. Bernardo Mendia, all interlocutors discussed the activities carried out by the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Municipality of Oeiras, and OVIA in promoting Macau and Oeiras as territories endowed with resources and essential characteristics for economic investment.
Intending to find common ground and create synergies conducive to the positive visibility of both Macau and Oeiras, the interlocutors explored potential avenues for cooperation considering the municipal mechanisms and strategies in place.
