On March 22, the Oeiras business delegation met with the Bao’an District Investment Promotion Agency, in Shenzhen city, for a bilateral exchange of investment opportunities in both cities under the Cooperation Protocol signed between OVIA and the Agency in 2023.
During the meeting, presentations were made about Oeiras and Bao’an by the Deputy Mayor of Oeiras, the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, and the Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of Bao’an District, respectively.
The leaders of Oeiras and Bao’an reinforced and strengthened the cooperation ties between Portugal and China, through the partnership previously created between the Agency and OVIA for the development of national and international networks of business and investment opportunities, and explored potential avenues for collaboration in the field of technological modernization and scientific research, and pointed out the next steps for defining future partnerships between local development agents, such as companies, R&D institutions, and industrial parks, among other relevant entities.
