On October 1, the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, met with Her Excellency, the Ambassador of Canada to Portugal, Élise Racicot, at the Embassy of Canada in Lisbon.
The meeting was primarily aimed at exploring potential synergies and deepening the relationship between Oeiras and Canada, highlighting the relevance of the Oeiras Valley innovation ecosystem for international investors and entrepreneurs. During the discussion, topics of mutual interest were addressed, including opportunities for collaboration in innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and the promotion of foreign investment.
The meeting reinforced the commitment of both parties to showcase the potential of Oeiras Valley to Canadian business leaders and to promote Portugal as a strategic destination for investment and long-term partnerships.
