The Oeiras Valley Investment Agency (OVIA) held a meeting on October 21 in Macau with Carlos Cid Álvares, President of Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU).
The meeting served to deepen institutional and financial dialogue between OVIA and BNU, focusing on opportunities for economic cooperation and investment support connecting Portugal, Macau, and the Oeiras Valley business ecosystem.
Discussions included potential partnerships in innovation, investment, and internationalization projects, reaffirming Macau’s role as a strategic financial bridge between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
This meeting was part of the official program of the OVIA Mission to China, which includes several engagements with governmental, academic, and business institutions.
Through this mission, OVIA aims to position Oeiras and the Oeiras Valley as strategic international cooperation partners, promoting foreign investment, innovation, and local economic diplomacy.
