On March 10th, OVIA’s Secretary-General, Tiago Sousa Dias, attended an institutional cocktail reception in Lisbon to mark the Chinese New Year and celebrate the beginning of the Year of the Horse.
The event was organized by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels, in partnership with the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHKCCI), the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, and Invest Hong Kong.
This initiative brought together institutional and business representatives, reinforcing the longstanding economic and cultural ties between Portugal and Hong Kong, in an environment conducive to networking and the identification of new collaboration opportunities.
OVIA’s participation in this event is particularly relevant considering the Memorandum of Understanding established with PHKCCI, which aims to promote economic cooperation, investment, and internationalization between the two ecosystems.
OVIA’s institutional presence reaffirms its role as an active platform connecting Europe and Asia, particularly Hong Kong, unlocking new opportunities for its members.
