On 27 January, a working meeting took place between OVIA and representatives of a leading international industrial and technology group, Kalyani – Bharat Forge, with the aim of presenting and discussing potential opportunities for collaboration and investment in Portugal.
OVIA was represented by its Secretary-General, Tiago Sousa Dias, in a meeting that enabled a strategic exchange of information on the territorial, institutional and economic framework of the municipality of Oeiras, as well as on the conditions available for hosting industrial, technological and high value-added projects.
The meeting constituted an initial exploratory approach, focused on identifying areas of mutual interest, presenting the positioning and capabilities of the territory, and carrying out a preliminary assessment of possible models for future cooperation, within a framework of institutional and business dialogue.
This initiative forms part of OVIA’s ongoing role as a platform for articulation between the Municipality of Oeiras and international economic operators, fostering a favorable environment for investment, innovation and the development of long-term strategic partnerships.
