OVIA held an online meeting with Zonson Smart Auto Corporation, a company specialized in the production of electric, hybrid, and hydrogen-powered buses, and a subsidiary of ZTE Corporation, on April 6.
The session included the participation of Nathan Yi, representing the company’s Marketing and Sales Center, and aimed to assess the feasibility of introducing these sustainable mobility solutions in Oeiras and, potentially, in the Portuguese market.
Zonson stands out for its industrial capacity, with an annual production of up to 3,000 buses, as well as its international presence across several European markets, meeting the most stringent European Union standards in terms of safety, energy efficiency, and technological innovation.
This meeting represents another step in OVIA’s strategy to promote sustainable urban solutions and position Oeiras as a pilot territory for smart and decarbonized mobility.
