Catholic University of Portugal invites OVIA´s President to teach sessions on economics and internationalization

The President of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, was invited by the Institute for Political Studies of the Catholic University of Portugal to teach Module VI – Economics and Internationalization, as part of the Advanced Program in Local Government, running from 6 March to 4 July.

During the session, Oeiras was presented as an example and a success story of internationalization, demonstrating how a consistent strategy based on innovation, investment attraction, collaboration between universities, businesses and public administration, and the promotion of knowledge can transform a territory into a national and international reference.

The experience of Oeiras Valley was therefore used as an example of good practice in sustainable economic development, highlighting the importance of creating ecosystems capable of attracting talent, investment and high-value-added companies.

The participation of OVIA’s President in this program also reinforces the role of the Investment Agency in sharing knowledge and promoting innovative models of territorial development, contributing to the training of current and future local government leaders.
