On July 19, OVIA received a delegation of entrepreneurs and investors from India, at Taguspark, in Oeiras, following a first face-to-face meeting in June, between their representatives and OVIA.
In the meeting, the main ambitions for investments in the Municipality and Portugal, as well as preliminary presentations by OVIA of projects and areas of interest, namely IT, industry, transportation, media, housing, and construction, were conveyed.
The reception event for the delegation commenced at 11:00 A.M., with the introduction and presentation of Taguspark by its CEO, Professor Eduardo Correia. OVIA was introduced by its Vice-President, Sílvia Taveira de Almeida.
Subsequently, the start-ups Bac3gel, Followprice, and Bandora, integrated into the Taguspark incubator, made their presentations, followed by a Q&A session.
After these introductions, OVIA’s Founding Members, Unipartner and Millennium BCP, represented by their CEO & Managing Partner, Fernando Reino da Costa, and by their Chief Marketing Officer for Corporate and SMEs, Gonçalo Regalado, respectively, had the opportunity to discuss their organizations and ongoing projects, capturing the interest of all the attendees in potential future avenues of cooperation, and also initiating a bilateral exchange of ideas.
This exchange was followed by a presentation of Oeiras Municipality projects by its Director for Territorial Planning, Urban Development, and Environment, Architect Luís Serpa, focused on commercial and housing developments, and the Congress Center, among others.
This event ended at 2:00 P.M., followed by a networking lunch at the Lazuli Restaurant in Lagoas Park.
