A delegation from Paraná met with OVIA

On March 14, OVIA hosted a delegation of 10 Brazilian entrepreneurs in Oeiras for a strategic meeting that reinforced investment and innovation ties between Portugal and Brazil. Held on the eve of OVIA’s mission to Brazil, the meeting was attended by Secretary-General Tiago Sousa Dias and served as an inspiring platform for exchanging insights and exploring mutual opportunities.

Led by Prof. Rafael Citadella Daron, CEO of Tog Lab and Board Member of Productized, the delegation included representatives from key sectors in Paraná, such as technology, industry, real estate, finance, and agribusiness. The group also featured members of Paraná’s Business and Commercial Chambers, with strong connections to public officials and municipal leaders.

During the meeting, OVIA showcased the Oeiras Valley ecosystem, one of Portugal’s most dynamic hubs for technology and innovation, highlighting investment incentives, best practices, and the municipality’s strategic advantages. The Brazilian entrepreneurs showed keen interest in Oeiras’ world-class infrastructure, innovation-driven environment, and support for internationalization.

Delegation members also presented their companies, with Tog Lab – a company developing digital products across Portugal, Brazil, the USA, and Turkey – standing out as a key player exploring new collaboration opportunities within Oeiras’ thriving business ecosystem.

The meeting was marked by an open and engaging dialogue on international expansion, cross-border synergies, and concrete investment opportunities. For OVIA, this initiative represents another milestone in attracting foreign investment and positioning Oeiras as a global hub for innovative enterprises.

The timing of this meeting, just before OVIA’s mission to Brazil, underscores the growing momentum in strengthening economic and business relations between the two countries, paving the way for new partnerships and expanded opportunities for entrepreneurs on both sides of the Atlantic.
