Knowledge sharing and the exchange of experience between innovation ecosystems were at the heart of a visit by a delegation from São José dos Campos to ISQ, organized by the Oeiras Valley Investment Agency on October 23.
The delegation included Mário Muniz, Secretary for Innovation and Economic Development of the Municipality of São José dos Campos, and Jeferson Cheriegate, President of the São José dos Campos Technology Park Association, the organization responsible for managing the São José dos Campos Innovation Technology Park.
The program began with a working meeting with ISQ’s Commercial Director and Innovation Director, during which the institution’s core capabilities, areas of activity, and potential opportunities for collaboration were presented. This was followed by a tour of its laboratories, giving the delegation first-hand insight into ISQ’s technical facilities and its capabilities in research, development, and technology services.
The visit builds on the growing relationship between OVIA and the São José dos Campos Innovation Technology Park, following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two organizations in August 2026.
It represents another step toward putting that commitment into practice by fostering direct institutional connections, knowledge sharing, and the identification of collaboration opportunities between companies and innovation ecosystem stakeholders in Portugal and Brazil.
