Oeiras Valley deepens its ties with Qinhuai through China-Portugal Business Exchange Session

Following the institutional rapprochement between Oeiras Valley and the Qinhuai District of Nanjing, formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, Li Kang, Oeiras Valley Investment Agency’s Representative in China, took part in an online business exchange session hosted by the Daguanglu Subdistrict Office on October 21.

The initiative, entitled China-Portugal Business Exchange Session – Sharing Opportunities, Building the Future, aimed to deepen economic cooperation between Portugal and China by providing a platform for dialogue between institutional and business representatives from both countries.

The session included a presentation by OVIA on Portugal’s economic environment and investment opportunities, alongside an introduction to the local institutional and business landscape. The program also featured open discussions and presentations by Chinese companies, which had the opportunity to showcase their activities and express their interest in business development and international expansion.

This participation marks another step toward implementing the understanding reached between Oeiras Valley and Qinhuai, helping translate institutional engagement into business connections and tangible opportunities for cooperation.

Continuing this dialogue will help raise the profile of the Oeiras ecosystem among Chinese companies interested in the European market and identify potential areas of collaboration with local businesses, institutions, and organizations.
