On September 24, OVIA Secretary-General Tiago Sousa Dias took part in a Think Tank held at the Officers’ Mess of the Portuguese Navy, at Palácio Seixas in Cascais.
The meeting was organized as part of the 5th edition of the CYBERSECURITY EXECUTIVE PROGRAM | INNCYBER INNOVATION HUB® and brought together program participants and faculty, as well as guests and representatives from various entities linked to cybersecurity and cyber defense.
The Think Tank session focused on the theme “Public Procurement in the Context of Cyberattacks – Risk, Continuity, and Resilience,” fostering reflection and debate on the challenges organizations face in an increasingly complex cybersecurity landscape.
The program also included a session dedicated to “The Evolution of Cybercrime and Service Resilience,” featuring Dr. Daniel Silva, Criminal Investigation Coordinator at the Judiciary Police, as well as a discussion on the cybersecurity maturity of organizations in Portugal, which brought together experts from different organizations and sectors.
The agenda further included contributions from Admiral António Gameiro Marques, Professor Telmo Vieira, Executive Coordinator of the CYBERSECURITY EXECUTIVE PROGRAM, and Professor António Casimiro, Scientific Coordinator of the program.
OVIA’s participation in this meeting made it possible to closely follow the discussion on one of the most relevant topics for the competitiveness and resilience of organizations, while also strengthening the Investment Agency’s ties with entities, experts, and initiatives working in the fields of innovation and technological transformation.
