From September 7 to 9, the OVIA Strategic Council, represented by its member Teresa do Brito Apolónia, Chief Executive & Transformation Leader of ESG ACCESS, participated in AIM Congress 2026 in Dubai, as part of the program of the Africa Pavilion, promoted by the Africa GCC Council.
Her participation brought together two strategic dimensions: her leadership role at ESG ACCESS, through the presentation of the new ESG ACCESS Africa platform, and her role as a member of the Africa GCC Council, contributing to dialogue between Africa, the Gulf countries, and international markets.
As part of the Africa Pavilion, Teresa do Brito Apolónia contributed to an agenda focused on ESG transformation, sustainable investment, governance, and building bridges between strategy, projects, and capital, including a strategic roundtable co-organized by ESG ACCESS Africa and Deep Finance Capital.
The new ESG ACCESS Africa platform is based on a vision that recognizes the diversity of Africa’s realities, 54 countries with different economic, regulatory, and institutional contexts, and advocates ESG approaches tailored to each reality and focused on tangible outcomes and sustainable investment.
As a member of the OVIA Strategic Council, Teresa do Brito Apolónia’s participation also represents an opportunity to position Oeiras within major international forums where investment, innovation, sustainability, and economic development converge, strengthening Oeiras Valley’s ability to build bridges with new markets and global partners.
