On August 25, OVIA Secretary-General Tiago Sousa Dias held an online meeting with EABID’s Mentor-in-Chief, Graham Colclough, to discuss the possibility of Oeiras hosting EABID’s second General Assembly.
Following the first General Assembly held in Brussels, hosting the next meeting in Oeiras would provide an opportunity to bring the organization and its European members closer to the business, technology, and institutional ecosystem of the municipality of Oeiras.
The initiative would also strengthen Oeiras’ international profile and create opportunities for engagement between EABID members, companies, investors, and local organizations, further consolidating the municipality’s position as a meeting point for international networks of knowledge, entrepreneurship, and investment.
OVIA will continue working with EABID to assess the conditions required to make this opportunity a reality.
