From participation in the Mission City Business Lunch in Luxembourg to a meeting with the European Investment Bank: EABID opens new avenues for European collaboration.
Following the contacts established on March 25, 2026, in Differdange, Luxembourg, during the Mission City Business Lunch, the European Association of Business and Innovation Districts (EABID) has taken another step in strengthening its institutional presence at the European level.
On July 29, EABID and OVIA Secretary-General Tiago Sousa Dias held an online meeting with Brendan McDonagh, Senior Adviser at the European Investment Bank (EIB), to present EABID and discuss potential avenues for collaboration between the two organizations.
The meeting follows the interest expressed by the EIB in EABID’s work during the Differdange event, where Tiago Sousa Dias participated in the discussion on networks and innovation and presented the association’s role in supporting innovation, business capacity building, and urban transformation.
Through EABID and OVIA, Oeiras continues to position itself at the forefront of European ecosystems focused on innovation, investment, and sustainable urban development, building bridges with leading European partners and turning international connections into new opportunities for collaboration.
