On May 7, OVIA held an online meeting with representatives of PIT São José, continuing the cooperation work that both entities have been developing over the past year. This collaboration has strengthened ties between the innovation ecosystems of Portugal and Brazil.
The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the terms for the future signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between OVIA and PIT São José, aimed at deepening institutional collaboration in the areas of innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, and business internationalization.
The meeting also explored new ways to integrate and involve PIT São José’s partner entities in OVIA’s initiatives, with the goal of creating an expanded cooperation network between companies, research centers, universities, and innovation support institutions.
The possibility of establishing a representation of PIT São José in Oeiras was also discussed, which would strengthen the Brazilian institution’s presence in Portugal and create new bridges between the business, technological, and scientific ecosystems of both countries and regions.
The meeting confirmed the shared commitment to further develop a strategic partnership that has been gaining increasing relevance in the context of Portuguese-Brazilian economic and technological relations.
