On April 1, OVIA hosted a working lunch attended by its Chairman of the Board, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, its Secretary-General Tiago Sousa Dias, the Secretary-General of the Fórum Oceano, Ruben Eiras, and a representative of CNN.
The meeting focused on defining promotion strategies for the Oeiras Bluetech Ocean Forum 2026, an event co-organized by OVIA and Fórum Oceano. Discussions covered communication approaches, international positioning, and stakeholder engagement, with the goal of establishing the event as a global benchmark in the blue economy and ocean innovation.
