On March 17, the Chairman of the Board of OVIA, Ambassador António Martins da Cruz, was interviewed by the Government Information Bureau of the Macau Special Administrative Region at OVIA headquarters, as part of an initiative supporting the preparation of an exhibition to be held on April 20, dedicated to presenting the successful implementation of the “one country, two systems” principle, which will include audiovisual content featuring testimonies from individuals who closely followed the transition process of Macau.
Ambassador António Martins da Cruz’s participation is particularly relevant given his role as diplomatic advisor to the Prime Minister of Portugal during that historic period, as well as his continued contribution to strengthening relations between Portugal, China, and Macau.
The recording of this interview constitutes an important historical and institutional testimony, contributing to preserving the memory of a landmark moment in international relations, while simultaneously reinforcing the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
