OVIA was represented by its Secretary-General, Tiago Sousa Dias, at the official “Happy Chinese New Year 2026” gala, hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Portugal, which took place on February 12 at the Salão Preto e Prata of the Casino Estoril.
OVIA’s institutional presence at this high-level diplomatic and cultural event underscored the importance of Portugal–China relations, as well as Oeiras Valley’s positioning as a territory open to international investment, economic cooperation, and intercultural dialogue.
The event, held as part of the official Chinese New Year celebrations, this year dedicated to the Year of the Horse, brought together members of the diplomatic corps, public authorities, and business leaders in a setting that fostered celebration and the strengthening of strategic partnerships.
OVIA’s participation aligns with its mission to actively promote the territory among international investors and stakeholders, reinforcing institutional bridges that create new opportunities for collaboration and sustainable economic development in Oeiras Valley.
