On 15 January, OVIA attended the New Year Reception and Commemorative Ceremony marking the 10th Anniversary of the Association of Chinese Societies in Portugal (ASCP), an event that brought together institutional, business and diplomatic representatives, reinforcing the ties of cooperation between Portugal and China.
The ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Lisbon, Yang Yirui, recently accredited, underscoring the importance of the occasion for strengthening bilateral relations and economic dialogue between the two countries.
OVIA’s participation in this event is aligned with its mission to promote international institutional and economic dialogue, as well as to enhance Oeiras’ positioning as a territory open to cooperation, investment and the development of global strategic partnerships.
The celebration of ASCP’s 10th anniversary thus represented a privileged opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to building lasting bridges between business communities, fostering an environment conducive to collaboration, investment and sustainable economic development.
