On October 14, the Secretary-General of OVIA, Tiago Sousa Dias, attended on behalf of the Investment Agency the reception hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Portugal, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the establishment of the China–Portugal Global Strategic Partnership and the farewell of Ambassador Zhao Bentang and Mrs. Xu Lixin.
The event took place at the Hotel InterContinental Lisbon, gathering members of the diplomatic corps, government representatives, and academic and business leaders, in a ceremony honoring the long-standing cooperation between the two nations.
OVIA’s presence underscored the Agency’s commitment to promoting international cooperation and fostering foreign investment in the municipality of Oeiras, while recognizing the importance of strategic relations with global partners such as the People’s Republic of China.
This participation further highlights OVIA’s active role in local economic diplomacy, strengthening connections between the Oeiras Valley innovation and investment ecosystem and international networks of business and scientific collaboration.
